If the Bug-A-Salt is older than 2 years, we will, on a case-by-case basis, do our best to satisfy our customers.

Please do not disassemble your BUG-A-SALT or do anything stupid like putting sand inside, as this will void our warranty terms.

Can I return my Bug-A-Salt for a refund?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please let us know the details by filling out this support form . If possible, we will gladly offer you a refund.

How accurate is the rifle?

  • Up to 1 meter is ideal. Practice accuracy by shooting at aluminum foil to see the salt spray pattern.

How many shots before I need to reload?

  • The Bug-A-Salt fires approximately 70-80 shots before you need to reload.

Can the Bug-A-Salt kill mosquitoes?

  • The Bug-A-Salt is extremely effective at killing mosquitoes.

What is the best lubricant for the Bug-A-Salt?

  • Vaseline is best used for the care of the plastic. Simply apply it to the handle of the clamping mechanism. WD-40 can also be used.
